The world's top fighters, wrestlers and athletes compete in one of the most difficult physical contests ever devised. Of the 1,400 people that have attempted to complete stage one since 1997, only 200 have succeeded. Of the 200 that passed stage one, only 2 people have gone on to complete all four stages.

Last Comic Standing

A nationwide talent search accepting the best professional and non-professional stand-up comedians. Once the selection process is narrowed to 10, the show covers the contestants as they live together and compete for an exclusive contract with NBC, and to be called the Last Comic Standing.

MythBusters

Airs: Wednesday 9:00 PM on Discovery Channel

It's a tough job separating truth from urban legend, but the MythBusters are here to serve. Special-effects experts Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman take on myths and use modern-day science to show you what's real and what's fiction. That's right, they do more than explain how something may or may not be scientifically possible. Through trial and error they actually demonstrate it.

The Biggest Loser

The biggest winner is "The Biggest Loser" in this compelling new weight-loss reality drama in which two celebrity fitness trainers join with top health experts to help 12 overweight contestants transform their bodies, health and ultimately, their lives. Caroline Rhea ("Sabrina, The Teenage Witch") hosts the unscripted, one-hour series in which two competing teams follow comprehensive diet and exercise plans to undergo radical physical makeovers. Unique physical challenges, surprising alliances and irresistible temptations make the competition even tougher for the contestants, who ultimately have to decide which player gets eliminated each week. In the end, "The Biggest Loser" becomes the biggest winner, walking away with a healthier body - and $250,000. The Amazing Race
Airs: Tuesday 9:00 PM on CBS (60 mins)
Premiered September 1, 2001
The Amazing Race is a Reality program featuring 11 teams of 2 (12 in the third and fourth seasons) racing around the world for a cash prize of $1,000,000. The teams compete in thirteen legs traveling all over the world. In most legs the last team to arrive at the pit stop is eliminated. When only three teams remain in the race, they compete in a final leg. The team in first place is the winner of $1,000,000 and the winner of The Amazing Race.

American Idol
This latest FOX musical reality series follows three judges and the host around the United States in search of an American Idol, a popstar above all the rest. With help from the viewers, they will decide from thousands of participants who will walk away with the record deal and the fame at the end of the long competition. This show airs twice a week on Tuesday and Wednesdays, on FOX.

Criss Angel Mindfreak

Criss Angel is on a quest to bring magic into our lives through extreme entertainment that he calls "mindfreak." He believes today's magicians are for the most part archaic and out of touch with society. He plans to change that with amazing feats, including being set ablaze for 46 seconds with very little protection and levitating people right on the street to death-defying escapes and even more slight-of-hand acts.

From Academy Award nominee Morgan Spurlock (Super Size Me) comes 30 Days, a new series where Morgan will explore what life changing experiences are possible in 30 days. The concept for the show stemmed from the transformation Spurlock underwent when he ate nothing but fast food for 30 days in his movie Super Size Me. In this new FX series, Morgan Spurlock asks the question, what would happen if people spend 30 days living in someone else’s shoes? Find out the answer as he brings you 30 life changing days in one hour focusing on topics such as minimum wage, anti-aging strategies, and binge drinking.

Shaq's Big Challenge

NBA superstar, father, and role model to millions Shaquille O'Neal embarks on a quest to wipe out childhood obesity and get America's kids on a healthy track. Shaq and his team of experts will put six young Florida middle school students through a physically and emotionally challenging program aimed at getting them into shape by teaching them healthy living skills. Shaq's mission doesn't end with these six children. He hopes to implement his health and fitness plan at all the local schools with the goal of the state of Florida eventually adopting the plan for all schools.

America’s Got Talent

Airs: NBC at Wednesday 9:00 PM (60 min.)

In this show, people show their talent and hope to impress the judges to reach to the top. The grand prize winner will win $1,000,000! The show will feature talent from various people from balancing stuff off their teeth to even rock bands. If they don't have the talent to recieve the grand prize, the judges kick them out off the competition. However, unless they impress to judges, they continue their quest. Who has the talent to receive the grand prize?

Celebrity Fit Club

VH1's Celebrity Fit Club, hosted by comedian Ant, is one unique reality series. Simply by signing up to VH1's Celebrity Fit Club, our participants are making a statement to the world that they have a problem and they need help to overcome it. They'll be aiming to shed pounds, but they'll also have to shed their inhibitions. On this show will you see these celebrities revealed as never before. It's a simple concept: Eight overweight stars are divided into two teams and challenged to get fit and lose weight over a 14 week period.

A new take on celebreality, this series marks the comeback of an early purveyor of hardcore comedy, Andrew Dice Clay. VH1 chronicles the comeback, as Dice and crew take on hosting a radio show, writing a book, making a record, and attempting to crack up arena-size crowds. You won't be able to tear your eyes away from this spectacle.

Hogan Knows Best

"Bullrun" lets real people go behind the steering wheels of their favorite souped-up cars and go head-to-head with other drivers in a racecar rally event across America. The drivers will embark upon undisclosed cross terrain routes and challenging obstacles in an effort to win a big money prize and bragging rights. Each episode will see the elimination of one driving team based on driving strategy and performance. Besides the race, viewers will also get a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the drivers' adventures when they're off the road and partying with fans at the various pit stops.

Flavor of Love Girls: Charm School

The Flavor of Love girls are back in a reality series big enough that the one and only Mo'Nique can handle. This time, thirteen ex-flavors from seasons one and two of Flavor of Love are put to the test of etiquette Boot Camp. At the season's end, a cash prize and the title of "Charm School Queen" awaits the winner, who makes the biggest transformation from ghetto to glam.

Who Wants to Be a Superhero?

Airs: Thursday 9:00 PM on SciFi (60 min.)

The SCI FI Channel and legendary comic-book creator Stan Lee present a six-episode, one-hour weekly reality series that will challenge contestants to create their very own superhero.

 

Potential contestants have been asked to audition with their idea for a superhero, including a self-made costume. From thousands of hopefuls, Stan Lee has chosen eleven to star in the series. The chosen ones are asked to leave their former lives behind and move into a “secret lair” and begin their transformation into their superhero identity.

 

Every week, under the watchful eye of Stan Lee, the superheroes will be asked to test their skills, discover their true nature and prove themself as a superhero. Each week Stan will decide over who will stay in the lair and who will have to go home.

 

In the end, only one will remain, and that person will be invited to appear, as their character, in an original SCI FI Channel movie.

The Surreal Life

The Surreal Life, which follows six op-culture figures as they move into a house and room and work together in Los Angeles' San Fernando Valley. The lives of these notorious pop culture figures over the next two weeks are taped. Once they were superstars. Now, they're back in the spotlight as they share a home and a series of outrageous and life-changing events for ten days and nights that can only be described as surreal.
