Based on the popular British series of the same name, this faster-paced American version follows the daily interactions of a group of idiosyncratic office employees via a documentary film crew's cameras.

Regional manager Michael (Steve Carell, The Daily Show) thinks he's the coolest, funniest, best boss ever - which, of course, makes him the uncoolest, most obnoxious and annoying boss as far as his staff is concerned. His co-worker Jim (John Krasinski, Kinsey) lusts after engaged receptionist Pam (Jenna Fischer, Miss Match) when he's not sabotaging his cube-mate, the know-it-all Dwight (Rainn Wilson, Six Feet Under).

Ryan Howard (B.J. Novak, Punk'd) is a young, smart, self-possessed temp, who quickly figures out the real office politics despite Michael's attempts to instill the official point-of-view.

Meanwhile, the entire office is constantly worried about the impending staff cuts. Will there be layoffs? Will there be office romance? Will Michael ever shut up? If it's truly a typical office, then the answers are "maybe," "yes," and "absolutely not."

Premiered October 1, 2001
Scrubs follows the lives of three hospital interns, John "J.D." Dorian, Chris Turk and Elliot Reid as they go through the challenges of working at Sacred Heart Hospital. To help (or get in the way) of their journey they can count on the knowledge of the experienced (but very short on patience) Dr. Perry Cox, the devlish smile of Dr. Bob Kelso and the warm heart of Nurse Carla Espinosa.
"This half-hour comedy from the co-creator/executive producer of "Spin City" focuses on the bizarre experiences of fresh-faced medical intern John "J.D." Dorian as he embarks on his healing career in a surreal hospital crammed full of unpredictable staffers and patients where humor and tragedy can merge paths at any time.

Joining the rumpled J.D. in his exhilarating brave new world are his college buddy, Chris Turk, an intern with a more elite surgical group, and J.D.'s fellow medical intern, the beautiful and driven Elliot Reid. Keeping the new interns on their toes are: the fatherly chief of medicine, Dr. Bob Kelso; the abrasive, worldly Dr. Perry Cox, and the caring but slightly jaded nurse Carla Espinosa."

Curb Your Enthusiasm
Airs: Sunday 10:00 PM on HBO (30 mins)
Premiered October 15, 2000
Each half-hour episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm features verité-style footage of David (playing himself) at home, at work and around town, as he gets into predicaments with fictional and real-life personalities. With cast regulars Jeff Garlin (as manager Jeff Greene) and Cheryl Hines (as wife Cheryl) reprising their roles, the series features appearances by guest celebrities playing themselves or character roles; September's guests include Ted Danson, Michael York, Joan Rivers, Richard Lewis and others.

Candid, unsparing and self-deprecating, Curb Your Enthusiasm brings the off-kilter comic vision of Larry David--co-creator and co-executive producer of one of the most lauded comedy series in TV history, Seinfeld--to HBO. The series blurs the lines between reality and fiction, as David (playing himself) and a cast of real and fictional characters are followed around Los Angeles by a ubiquitous camera that chronicles the private, often banal world of a (somewhat) public man.

Having evolved from the 1999 HBO special Larry David: Curb Your Enthusiasm, this series proves how seemingly trivial details of one's day-to-day life--a trip to the movies, a phone call, a visit from some trick-or-treaters--can precipitate a "Murphy's Law" chain of misfortune to hilarious effect. Like George Costanza in Seinfeld (a character based on David), the protagonist of Curb Your Enthusiasm has a knack for getting himself into uncomfortable situations that end up alienating him from peers and acquaintances.

To keep the narrative fresh and spontaneous, Curb Your Enthusiasm is shot without a script; the cast is given scene outlines and often improvise lines as they go. The result is an unpredictable format that's unlike anything else on TV.
Cast:
Larry David - Himself
Jeff Garlin - Jeff Greene
Cheryl Hines - Cheryl David

The Washoe County Sheriff's Department of Reno, Nevada, has many colorful characters. Lieutenant Jim Dangle (Tom Lennon) leads the department, and he is a closeted homosexual (he likes to wear tight biker shorts and pick up guys he stops for speeding.) Deputy C. Johnson (Wendy McLendon-Covey) is a former topless showgirl who is happy that she happens to be the hottest woman in the department (she still wears her police uniform half unbuttoned.) This includes Deputy Raineesha Williams (Niecy Nash), a tough black woman who joined the department because she gets to slap men around. It also includes Deputy Trudy Wiegel (Kerri Kenney), who has some mental problems, and seems to be rather racist as well (I think she is a little delusional, because she thinks she is having an affair with Lt. Dangle.) She accuses Deputy James Garcia (Carlos Alazraqui) of being a racist Mexican, which he isn't, because he seems to hate everyone equally. Deputy S. Jones (Cedric Yarbrough) is a tall black man who is having a secret affair with Johnson and a not-so-secret affair with Williams. Deputy Travis Junior (Ben Garant) trains the German police dogs, but he only knows French commands. Each episode ends oddly with scenes from next week's episode, only they aren't really the actual scenes from next week.
